Sunburn!

This is by far the latest I've posted for all of my meals but today was a little unplanned in the fact I switched shifts for work. So that will explain my lateness.

This morning for breakfast I had a lovely piece of pumpkin bread I made the night before, a fried egg white and an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink smoothie courtesy of the fruit that was kindly sitting out for me, just asking to be used in a smoothie. It was practically calling out to me, how was I to deny them from their destiny?

Everything-but-the-kitchen-sink included: mangoes, peaches, strawberries, blueberries and a banana
After a great breakfast, Liz and I met up to go workout. We did 30 minutes on the elliptical and then 30 min of strength. My arms still are aching but it's worth it if it means I get rid of my noodle arms.

But I think my body hurts even more than the hour and some I was outside tanning. For some reason I didn't consider 90 degree weather and fair skin being a problem. Well I learned my lesson because I had to add about a pound of aloe lotion on my body to prevent too much burning. My face still looks like I was embarrassed and blushing like crazy!

I made a delicious lunch of whole wheat penne pasta, olive oil, Parmesan cheese and a chicken and spinach sausage crumbled on top of it. I made it in about 15 minutes which was perfect because I love fast meals. I'm lazy, what can I say?

So usually in the general scheme of things dinner would follow after lunch, unfortunately since I was called into work, I wound up eating a Bertolli pasta dish. So it was more like an afternoon snack rather than a dinner. Granted it was not the healthiest meal on earth but it was filling and I also had half of a Chocolate chip Clif bar which helped me get through work.

Now that I'm back from work, I am already off to bed so I can get in an early workout before I have to go to work for a short day. Or I may just stay up late watching the Cooking Channel, The Food Network and of course, reading this!
And probably contemplate on buying this Forever21 romper with my paycheck. It's just too cute! What do you think?

See you all in the morning!

What's your favorite food to make when you're in a hurry?
