It's (Almost) The Freakin' Weekend

Hello everyone! Liz here :-D

Sorry I didn't post last night! I was distracted my dancing men in tights (SYTCD anyone?) and then the last couple chapters of my book. I had a wonderful dinner, though! My grandma, mom, and I all ended up going to Mimi's Cafe.

Mimi's is this adorable French restaurant. When we walked in we actually found my cousin working at the bar! We talked to him for a bit and then went to our table. I started off with tea because the restaurant was freezing.

I ordered French Onion Soup and then dug into the breadbasket. This bread was AH-MAZING. There was carrot-walnut loaf and if I could I would have eaten every slice in the restaurant. The soup? Pretty freaking amazing.

For my entree I chose the crab cakes appetizer. I thought it might just be one crab cake (hence the soup) but it actually ended up being three crab cakes with a small salad on the side.

I ate two of the crab cakes and most of the salad. And then I had another piece of carrot-walnut loaf because it really, really was necessary.

Today is the Dunes (as you all probably know) so for breakfast this morning I tried to have something that would be bikini-friendly. I ended up settling on a pineapple-strawberry-banana smoothie and then added one waffle because I was still hungry.

Well, I am off to get ready for the Dunes!! I will see you all later in the day :-D

Do any of you have exciting Friday plans??
