The Back-Up Plan

This morning I woke up REALLY craving French Toast. Sadly, all the eggs in my refrigerator are past their due dates. Thank you, Las Vegas trip, for completely depleting my groceries. Looks like I will be going grocery shopping soon!

Anyhoo, in place of my French Toast I had two slices of Cinnamon Raisin bread with almond butter and half of a banana. Coffee played a supporting role, as usual ;-)

So, today I am dragging myself to the dentist to get a cavity fixed. It is so odd because when I was a kid and ate candy up to my wazoo I never had cavities. The minute I go to college it's like my mouth explodes with them. Oh well, at least I am getting it dealt with. And afterwards I will have that sweet numbing feeling where I can only smile with half my face. This is going to be oodles of fun.

Does anyone out there actually enjoy going to the dentist? I'm not afraid of the dentist but it definitely is not a pleasurable experience.

  1. Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving the nicest comments! It means a lot to me! I am glad to have found yours too! I am definitely not afraid of the dentist other than the cost! I have paying for things to be fixed when really I think dental stuff is mostly hereditary! I hope it went well for you!

  2. Ohh that sounds like a good Plan B breakfast! Especially when coffee is in the picture :) And ohmygosh, I haven't been to the dentist in TWO years! I've never had a cavity, but I have a feeling it'll be bad news when I finally go to get my chompers checked out! I'm already in denial..
